Official Contest Rules
This Contest is promoted by the Contest administrators People Mover Technologies Inc. (the "Contest Administrator").
ELIGIBILITY
La Poutine Week 2024 Contest (the "Contest") is open to all legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence by February 1, 2024, subject to the exclusions listed below ("Eligible Participants").
Employees, representatives, agents (and those with whom they are domiciled) of the Contest Administrator are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
CONTEST DURATION
The Contest begins on February 1, 2024, at 12:00 am Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on February 7, 2024, at 12:00 pm ET (the "Contest Duration").
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
During the Contest Duration, Eligible Participants will earn points by participating and interacting on the website WWW.LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM. Each action is worth a certain number of points. The terms and conditions for obtaining said points ("Points") are annexed to these rules.
Eligible Participants have the chance to win one (1) of five (5) prizes. The five (5) Eligible Participants who accumulate the most Points during the Contest Duration (the "Qualified Participants") will each receive a prize based on their ranking. No purchase is required.
PRIZES
The Contest features five (5) prizes consisting of a DoorDash gift card worth $500, a DoorDash gift card worth $300, a DoorDash gift card worth $200, a DoorDash gift card worth $150, and a DoorDash gift card worth $100.
WINNER SELECTION
Five participants will be chosen among the Qualified Participants who have accumulated the greatest number of Points (the "Winners"), and the prizes will be awarded based on the quantity of points accumulated by each Winner. The Winner with the most Points will receive the first prize; the Winner with the second-highest number of Points will receive the second prize, and so on. In the event of a tie in points between two Winners, the tie will be resolved through a draw among the Winners who obtained the same number of points, as applicable.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
The prizes will be awarded on February 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm ET at the Contest Administrator's offices at M1-204 Notre-Dame Street West, Montreal H2Y 1T3. Qualified Participants will be contacted by email. To be declared a Winner, Qualified Participants must answer (unassisted) a mathematical skill-testing question. The Contest administrators reserve the right to request proof of age and proof of residence before awarding a prize. Qualified Participants may be disqualified if they cannot provide such proof.
If a Qualified Participant is contacted but does not respond within ten (10) days, or in the case of disqualification as mentioned above, their prize will be forfeited and then awarded to the next Winner, as determined by the number of Points.
The prizes will be delivered to the Winners by email within two (2) weeks after February 13, 2024.
OTHERS
By participating in the Contest, all participants and Winners agree to comply with these Official Contest Rules and be bound by them.
By participating in this Contest, Winners consent to the Contest administrators using their name and naming their city of residence for all legal purposes without further permission or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest Administrators are not responsible for any other fees associated with claiming or using the prizes, nor for the loss, theft, or misuse of the prizes.
The Contest Administrators, the companies in their group, and each of their directors, board members, officers, employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for the following and cannot be held liable for the malfunction of the website WWW.LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM. The Contest Administrators are not responsible for conditions resulting from events beyond their control that could cause the Contest to be interrupted.
For residents of Quebec, a dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. A dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purposes of an intervention to attempt to resolve it.

This section applies only to restaurants participating in the event organized by La Poutine Week (the "restaurant"), notwithstanding any contrary provision.
The Restaurant, at the time of registration and at other times when disclosures are made to La Poutine Week, will need to share information, its contact details, and those of its contact person with La Poutine Week.The Restaurant hereby consents to La Poutine Week using this information for advertising purposes and for the benefit of its partners and/or sponsors, who may thus contact the Restaurant to share promotions, partnerships, and sell their services.
Upon request from the restaurant, La Poutine Week will remove the restaurant's information from its database and, upon request, from the database of its partners/sponsors.

USER ACCOUNT
To participate in certain activities of La Poutine Week, the user provides a number of pieces of information that entitle them to a user account. This user account is used to identify a single user, particularly in the context of their participation in the La Poutine Week contest on LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM.
LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM allows users to create an account and vote for their favorite poutines.
You are solely responsible for managing your user account and password, for the confidentiality of your password, and for restricting access to your user account.
You agree to be responsible for all activities that occur on your user account or through the use of your password by yourself or by others.
As a condition of your use of the website, you agree:

POINT COLLECTION
With your user account, you can collect points ("Points") by (a) participating in various activities on the website or (b) purchasing points.
Actions for collecting points:
- Create a user account by registering on LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM = 3 points
- Vote for your favorite poutine on LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM. (Limit of 20 votes allowed per user.) = 3 points
- Use the hashtag #lapoutineWeek on social media (*Limit of 10 posts allowed per user.) = 6 points
- Transaction on the platform = 10 points
The user must be logged into their user account when participating in the above activities to collect the Points.
The user must link their social media account to their LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM user account to collect points by using the hashtag #lapoutineWeek on social media.
PURCHASE OF POINTS
The user can also purchase points through the website. The user can purchase 2,000 points for $20.00 (Canadian dollars) or 5,500 points for $50.00 (Canadian dollars). The purchase of points must be made on LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM.
The points, whether collected through actions or purchased, will be valid during La Poutine Week or other events organized by Peoples Mover Technologies Inc.
The user can check the balance of their Points by logging into their user account on LAPOUTINEWEEK.COM.
EXCHANGING YOUR POINTS
100 Points can be exchanged for $1.00 (Canadian dollars) at participating restaurants of La Poutine Week by using the QR code on the user account.
BADGES FOR POINTS
Users can collect badges during La Poutine Week. The badges confer no benefit or reward.
SECURITY
La Poutine Week may use third parties as Internet service providers to provide hosting, storage, and data preservation services. La Poutine Week and as an Internet service provider of third parties may use servers located in Canada or in any other country for this purpose. An individual's personal information may be processed and stored in Canada or in a foreign country, and the government, courts, jurisdictional bodies, or law enforcement agencies of that country may obtain disclosure of personal information through the laws of that foreign country.
